Organisational support is fundamental to the foundations of ReNEW’s overarching framework and is one of it’s 5 core objectives of what we hope to achieve through delivery of our services. We are committed to working to reduce the cultures of abuse and disempowerment which continue to impact women within the workplace. We strive to provide individualised, specialist support to existing organisations and businesses currently working with and who are committed to continue to empower those working women within our communities.
ReNEW specialises in supporting the development and maintenance of psychologically informed workplaces. We can offer a range of tailored and bespoke services specifically for our organisational and business clients. We aim to enhance wellbeing and employer performance within the workplace through delivery of a range of training packages and therapeutic services including the facilitation of clinical supervision, consultation, and reflective practice. We can provide a flexible approach which meets the individual needs of your organisation or business to develop creative and adaptive solutions for current challenges within the workplace both through one-off interventions or via longer-term more complex pieces of work around culture change, research, or service evaluation.
At ReNEW, we believe that good quality clinical supervision and in-depth reflective practice are at the heart of professional and personal development. Research consistently highlights that effective supervision and reflective practice are an integral part in ensuring the best outcomes for the clients we seek to support as well as maintaining the psychological wellbeing of employees.
To ensure that we are providing services which are facilitating safe, sensitive, and effective therapeutic work, we believe that as professionals we must also prioritise space to reflect, learn and grow both for ourselves as well as our clients.
ReNEW are delighted to offer supervision and consultation to a range of professionals working with adults, children, or families. Drawing on our wealth of experience as registered and practicing Clinical Psychologists, we specialise in offering integrative supervision with a focus on the impact of adversity, loss and trauma on our clients as well as on ourselves as professionals.
We can offer individual and group supervision for a range of professional contexts including Social Care, Mental Health/Learning Disabilities, Education, Criminal Justice among others.
ReNEW can also offer standalone or block consultations to individuals, groups of professionals or organisations. We take a flexible approach to our therapeutic consultations based on the individual needs of the professional or organisation. However, some specific areas we may be able to support you to with include the development of psychologically-informed formulations of individual clients, professional teams, or organisational systems, as a means of overcoming obstacles and barriers to effective ways of working with people, and to explore and problem solve the best ways to support clients. We take into consideration the specific settings and systems involved with the individual/team you are seeking advice around, as well as their individual needs, in order to help you/your service work through the personal impact of a complex/challenging clinical experience.
Both clinical supervision and consultation can be offered face to face or offered remotely depending on which works best for your organisation.
We provide a clear framework of safety and governance around our consultation and supervision (individual and group) which helps to protect both parties, as well as the clients we seek to support.
With backgrounds in Clinical Psychology, the ReNEW team are experienced scientist-practitioners who hold expertise in research, service evaluation and audit, specialising in research in relation to women, abuse and societal inequalities.
ReNEW seeks to lead on and co-facilitate projects which seek to develop awareness of and raise the profile of the specific issues facing women within our local communities to make longer-lasting, more meaningful societal changes. We are passionate about research projects which have real world application and work in line with our values to make research accessible and available to all.
Research will be conducted both in-house, as well as providing research, service evaluation, study design expertise, and guidance on a consultancy basis for those projects which align with ReNEW’s core values and mission to make meaningful differences to the lives of local women.
Please refer to our the ‘Research, Service Evaluation, and Audit’ section of our website for further information.
ReNEW can offer bespoke and individualised training packages to organisations and businesses looking to develop and maintain a psychologically safe working environment to support and promote employee well-being, and to develop awareness of issues currently facing women within the workplace and to develop ways to support working women. We believe that providing a space for employees to have time to reflect, address current concerns and come up with ideas to improve their workplace results in greater innovation, better problem-solving abilities, and safer more efficient organisations.
Please see our 'Training' section of our website for further information about the types of training packages we are currently able to offer your business or organisation.
There are two key pathways for our organisational or business clients. Firstly, we can consider a referral which may include a single training session (with specialist and bespoke packages available in trauma-informed working, women’s empowerment, abuses of power in the workplace, women in leadership) or a brief consultancy work (such as a one-off organisational supervision). One of our experienced team will meet with your organisation to help to identify which individual piece of work will be more suited to the needs the needs of your service and its employees.
Secondly, for a more complex referral or longer-term piece of work, an organisational formulation will be completed, following a period of assessment of an organisation and how it is currently functioning, using evidence-based psychological frameworks. Over a period of 3-6 months changes will be suggested, and supported to be implemented by an organisation, with a follow-up to ensure changes are maintained. The overarching aim will always be to improve women’s experiences, target inequalities, and address abuse.
